Community
The Workshop (getting and publishing content), Find a Game, community chat and reminders, achievements, and your account and plans.
Beyond your own table, Roliando has a community of GMs and players who create, share and find each other. This guide walks through the Workshop, Find a Game, the community chat, achievements, and your account.
Workshop
The Workshop is the community's content marketplace: game systems, items, and D&D modules. You grab free content with a tap and (if the creator sells it) paid content too; everything lands in My Library.
- The house systems are marked as Official, at the very top. The rest is sorted by rating.
- Each system shows its author, the date of its last update, and its tags (genre and engine) for filtering.
- You rate a system (1 to 5 stars) if you've obtained it.
- The Questions tab of each system is a Q&A thread: you write your question and the creator gets a notification.
- Publishing your own content is a Legend GM feature.
Find a Game
Find a Game is the board for finding a table (or players). You filter by:
- All · Games (GM) (a director is looking for people) · Players (someone is looking for a table).
- By type: Campaigns, West Marches, and One-shots.
Scheduled games show their date in your time zone, and you can get reminders.
When you ask to join, the GM accepts or declines your request (respecting the open seats). To leave a game, the campaign's Players tab has "Leave game": you stop being a member and your sheets are unlinked (not deleted, you keep them). The GM, from that same tab, can kick a player with the same effect.
The community
The Community section has a platform-wide Chat (the same one you see on Home) and your Reminders for games and events. Reminders notify you on time, adjusted to your time zone.
The Forum
The Forum is the community's board: you land on every thread, newest first, and the categories (questions, ideas, tips, resources…) filter the list. You can search and sort by Recent, Most replied or Unanswered (a good place to lend a hand). You open a thread, people reply, and you follow the ones you care about; if the thread is yours you can edit it from the pencil. Use it for conversations that don't belong in the live chat.
Direct messages
In Messages you talk privately with another person: from their profile, the Send message button. A badge marks your unread messages, and you can keep a list of friends to have them handy.
Achievements
Roliando rewards playing with achievements (medals): some are earned on their own (creating your first system, playing hours, running games…) and others are granted by a GM by hand for what happens at the table. They show on your profile.
Account and plans
In Settings you manage your account by tabs: Account (display name, time zone for schedules and reminders), Appearance (theme and your dice skin), Notifications, Subscription, and Accessibility (high contrast, font size, and fewer animations).
The free plan lets you create and play systems and campaigns, with as many players as you like per table (voice takes up to 12 at a time) and one of each thing to try the tools out. Legend GM adds the full table (3D, broadcast for OBS, teams and uncapped voice), an uncapped catalog, publishing in the Workshop and premium cosmetics. You can install Roliando as an app (mobile or desktop) from the menu itself.
